The ULTRA-SIMPLE but Highly Effective PKM-Setup
In this article, I’ll show you my ultra-simple PKM setup that I used to write 3 books in 3 months, 337 articles in one year and now YouTube videos twice a week while working full time.
What is PKM (personal knowledge management)
But first, we need to know exactly what we mean by PKM, or personal knowledge management.
If we just look up on Google we find that knowledge is: facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject.
While management is the process of dealing with or controlling things or people, PKM is therefore how we deal with or control relevant facts, relevant information, and relevant skills. In other words, whenever you and I discover or learn something cool, we want to be able to use it again and again, and thus gain more leverage and power as individuals.
Now if you know me, I like to keep things extremely simple and easy.
Therefore my ideal PKM system has to be extremely easy to use which to me means very accessible, clear and supportive . The PKM system must be reliable and with no overhead.
