Pseudo-productivity, Your Greatest Enemy (and how to avoid it)

Welcome back, so happy to see you again! I don’t know if you have heard about the term pseudo-productivity but by the end of today’s article, you will know why it is destructive and also know how to avoid it.
What is pseudoproductivity
In yesterday’s article, we defined productivity as “getting more of what you want per unit of time”. Since pseudo means fake or not genuine, pseudo-productivity is therefore “believing we are getting more of what we want per unit of time, but actually don’t”. We feel productive but are not actually productive. I’ll give you some examples:
Let’s say that we want to be good at sales, and the fastest way to become good is to sell whether it is cold calling or in person shows. That means every time we are not selling, let’s say looking up online how to sell, checking out and rereading books, rehearsing your sales script, we are not productive but pseudo-productive.
