As of today, I have written and published over 300 articles in one year.
In this article, you will hear my story, the five lessons I learned along the way, and how much money I made from writing during my first year.
How I started writing in the first place
In September last year, I finally took action on a dream I had wanted to pursue for the previous three years. That was entrepreneurship, being my own boss, and doing work centering around my very big passion for productivity.
Aside from buying expensive courses, I ended up participating in a local start-up incubator, a 10-week cohort, to develop the initial idea. At that time, I wanted to build a course around being totally present, but I realized pretty soon that I had no influence at all. Building this course without any proven demand is a waste of time.
So to gain traction, understand what people liked, and test the demand for the course, I released my first blog post on October 29th with the expectation of further building the website and publishing once a week.
