How to overcome Self-Doubt and Imposter Syndrome (as a new creator)

Imagine you’re sitting here right now, editing the newest video but you suddenly feel this wave of self-doubt.

You don’t know if you are good enough. Maybe everyone is laughing behind your back. Maybe your family doesn’t take you seriously. Who are you to be taken seriously?

I feel that every creator has self-doubt. Especially we new ones since nobody is really watching us let’s be honest.

I felt it especially when I wrote my first book back in April. Halfway in during my very intense writing process, I felt this wave. It felt like I was sort of in an ice bath, surrounded by fog, and everything around me looked so bleak and meaningless. It was like trying to run a marathon when you are in quicksand.

To be honest I still feel it often. Especially when writing scripts, I imagine myself looking at them with a smirk. And the funny thing is that the better and more productive I have become, the more self-doubt because the hard decisions keep coming closer and closer

Thankfully I’ve learned to cope with self-doubt and move forward anyway. I’m publishing Youtube-videos every day or at least every other day.
