How to ACTUALLY Become Disciplined (as a New Creator)

Now it might sound controversial but if done right, self-discipline is not hard at all.

Every day, I wake up at 5:30 Am, meditate for two hours daily, go to the gym three times a week and run twice a week. I also spend up to 93 hours every day, working both at my day job, but also on this YouTube channel, posting one new video every other day.

To stay consistent with all of this, without burning out or slipping back into old habits, I have found 3 ways that make it all possible.

1) Strip yourself of options

There are hundreds of things you can do at any moment. So if you want to make something happen faster, you have to set it as your main priority.

Priorities mean that two things cannot be equally important. If you say that writing is more important than let’s say watching TV, and you end up spending 4 hours watching but only 1-hour writing, TV- watching is, in reality, your priority.

So if you are serious about getting ahead on creating, you want to do less of anything else. Quit video games, don’t check social media and TV too often, don’t attend meetings and events that you are not passionate about. Then you will have all this blank space on your calendar for you to make progress on your priorities.
