How I Use Notion for Maximum Productivity

As someone who makes a new video every day

Welcome back, so happy to see you again. You have asked me to go through my Notion setup that I use every day, so that is what we are going to do. At the very end, I’ll give you a few tips on how you can build your Notion workflow.

Before we start, I want to remind you once again that our definition of productivity is “getting more of what you want per unit of time,” and the most productive Notion setup might look totally different. Because I’m a content creator who also has a day job, this is what I’m optimizing for.

My YouTube Database

So this one is the most important page in my life because here is where everything YouTube is, except for video ideas which I use Google Tasks for.

Right here is my database where every video for the week resides. As I’m recording this, it’s Thursday, and I assign 7 new ones every Saturday, so there are fewer than usual.

For each video, if you click it, there is all the info I need. I have three statuses: Prep, when I’m preparing the day before recording, Ready…
