Ever since I was a little child, I’ve always heard how good it is to relax, whether it is for health, productivity, relationships or just enjoying life.

But for some reason, I’ve never been able to relax consistently, despite meditating for over two decades now. I’ve always seen myself very tensed up and it simply would not go away.

That was until a week ago when I set out to solve this issue once and for all. And through a couple of belief shifts and insights, I finally became able to deeply relax, whether I was in bed, on the sofa, talking to people, being on the computer, or simply connecting with you.

What is relaxing really (and it’s opposite)?

The first thing I did was trying to define what being relaxed and being tense actually meant.

According to Google, relax is “make or become less tense or anxious” And tense up is “unable to relax because of nervousness, anxiety, or stimulation.”

So as you can see it’s pretty circular, like tensing up is unable to relax, and relax is less…
