Forget Folders & Tags — Use These Two Instead

If you only use these two, you mostly don’t need to organize at all:

Search & Favorites

With search, everything is at your fingertips.

Favorites keep your most viewed items close to you (so you don’t need to search all the time).

How it looks like in practice:

Want to look up a note? Search for it or favorite it if needed.

Want to find a file on your computer? Search for it or put it on the desktop

Email? Search in your archive and star the ones you need to look into later. ARCHIVE THE NEW ONES

Website? Google and bookmarks are your friends.

A physical thing? Either place it beside you or ask a professional librarian to search among the mess.

(The last one was a joke.)

Nonetheless, keep everything out of your way aside from favorites. Search the rest.

Get peace of mind without needing to do or maintain everything.
