Therefore, energy management is more important than time management (although not as popular). Fortunately, by living the Total Living lifestyle, you are in a far better position to control your internal battery, allowing you to be maximally engaged when working and totally relaxed otherwise.

Here are the 3 ways Total Living helps you accomplish this:

1. Being totally present for maximum control

By being fully here and not anywhere else from a mind perspective, you can effectively allocate your attention to what you set out to do. With full attention, energy comes naturally, like a stream not leaking.

In addition, deliberate breathing is an integral part of being present. As you learned here, you inhale longer for more energy and exhale longer for more relaxation. Breathing is your gas pedal, in other words.

2. Being personally antifragile to prevent wasting energy on worry
