Yesterday, I launched my second digital product:

The audio version of my first e-book Effortless Republishing.

It contains the same material as the ebook but is suitable if you have way more time to listen than to read. It also includes an accompanying PDF, with chapter timestamps, graphics, and all checklists for the four weeks.

Here are three lessons I learned

It is very easy to make one

Simply use Audacity, free audio software to record your voice using a good microphone (I use the standard Yeti Stereo Blue). Hit record and start reading your manuscript. If you make a mistake, you can delete the last seconds and continue.

Recording your book is an excellent way to proof-read

During the recording session, I noticed many mistakes that were previously unseen. Going forward, I will record the audio version before releasing e-books as a good proofread. My next e-book (The Barbell System) will therefore be released together with its audio version.

Stay tuned for the launch next week!

Distribution is confusing — The easiest solution is the best

I admit that I haven’t distributed further to other audiobook platforms (yet) although they will be up soon.

The reason is that Audible is inaccessible for all of us who happen to not live in the US and UK. Quite discouraging and I hope it will change soon. Therefore, the audio version is currently a flexible MP3 file that you can replay wherever you want.

In this audiobook, you will learn

  • Why you should be on multiple platforms to gain unlimited upside
  • A new mindset of focusing on a few platforms while copy-pasting to the rest
  • How to use Typeshare to effortlessly publish to Twitter, Medium, and Linkedin while reusing the material to Quora and Facebook
  • Why and how you can use Revue as your ultimate newsletter
  • How to repurpose your own articles to TikTok and Instagram.
  • How to effortlessly maintain your Youtube channel and podcast, using Zoom to record and Anchor as the main distributor
  • How to overcome your fear of recording with simple and practical steps

Finally, in the end, you will receive the checklist of 37 steps that you can follow every day for maximum visibility.

If you want to be a leveraged digital writer you can grab your copy of the audiobook here. If you prefer reading, you can get the e-book version here.
